　　沃尔沃S80L在外观设计方面，运用了更多流畅的曲线设计，引擎盖上柔美的V字形折线延伸到前杠底部搭配更宽广的进气格栅，更营造出几分时尚的年轻气息。由于沃尔沃S80L为加长车型，所以在外围尺寸长宽高略有提升达到4991/1861/1490mm，轴距更是加长至惊人的2976mm。

　　动力上，沃尔沃S80L搭载2.0L和3.0L涡轮增压发动机，其中2.0L发动机最大功率177Kw（240Ps)/5500rpm，最大扭矩320Nm/1800-5000rpm；3.0L发动机最大功率224Kw(305Ps)/5600rpm，最大扭矩440Nm/2100-4200rpm，全系匹配6档手自一体和6挡双离合变速箱。
